Patchwork Studio is a product of Parallel Play LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about you when you use Patchwork Studio at patchworkstudio.app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile information through our authentication provider, Clerk. If you sign in via a third-party service (such as Google), we receive basic profile information from that provider.
We store the quilt patterns you design, makes you track (including status, notes, and step progress), photos you upload to your makes, and comments and likes you post in the community.
If you subscribe to the Maker plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details — Stripe handles this securely on our behalf. We do store your subscription status and billing history.
We collect basic usage data such as pages visited and features used to help us improve the Service. We use Google Analytics and Pinterest Tag to collect this data. This may include your IP address (anonymized), browser type, device type, and pages visited. This data is not sold to third parties.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Patterns and makes are private by default. You control whether your content is shared with the community. You may make a pattern or make public at any time, and you may revert it to private or delete it at any time. Deleting content removes it from the Service, though cached or archived copies may persist briefly.
Your display name and avatar are visible to other users when you post public content or leave comments.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or billing purposes (such as transaction records).
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Clerk, and access controls on our database. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
Patchwork Studio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
